Roberta Ashkin is the founder of Ashkin Law, a full service law firm in New York.. A 1978 graduate of St. John’s University School of Law , Ms. Ashkin has concentrated over the past 25 years on both individual and mass tort claims throughout the country of victims of environmental hazards, workplace exposure to asbestos and other toxic agents, and individuals injured by dangerous pharmaceutical agents and devices. As Special Counsel to the Calwell Practice, Ms. Ashkin is engaged in a number of ground breaking projects with the firm, currently overseeing its considerable docket of Hormone Replacement Therapy cases before the New York Supreme Court, where she has been appointed as Plaintiff Liaison Counsel. Ashkin Law remains uniquely positioned to concentrate on the injury claims arising from pharmaceutical and household products to women and their children and is currently investigating the possible link and potential legal consequences of childhood exposure to pesticides and a number of health ailments with the Calwell Practice.
